Creating an Ebay Account

By creating an eBay account you are automatically set up with a buyer account. In order to sell on eBay, you must also have a credit card on file with eBay.  At that point your account is upgraded to a seller account.  There is no fee to have a seller account and your card will not be charged.  It is simply one of eBay’s security methods to ensure you are who you so you are.  As you list items and sell items you will incur eBay fees.  You can pay for your eBay fees using the credit card on file or directly from your PayPal account or even your checking account, it’s completely up to you.
