November 18, 2009 Comp & Tech Comments Off

Cheap speakers are sprouting all over the place, and it can be a little difficult to decide which to choose. In order to avoid a hit or miss kind of situation, it would be advisable to research on the brand of cheap car speakers you are interested in.

Online you will find a lot of helpful tips from buyers who may have experienced  something wonderful (or the complete opposite) with the cheap speakers you are eyeing. Make sure to do more than a whitewash surf on the brand you are interested in. After all, you could be reading feeds from the manufacturers, and not from actual customers. You know how it is – advertising on the internet.

Is the Smallest Travel Printer for You?

October 11, 2009 Comp & Tech Comments Off

If size does indeed matter, then smaller is better. At least that’s true when it comes to the travel printer market. Nobody wants to be lugging around a huge printer but depending on your needs, the smallest travel printer may not be best for you. The smallest travel printer is a thermal printer that tilts the scales at a miniscule 14 ounces. That compares to the smallest ink jet printer that comes in at 2 1/4 pounds. If a thermal-fusion printer can assuage your desires then you will be toting around a little over a pound of pure printing capacity. As with any printer purchase it is a good idea to list your needs and then check out several different models before you purchase. Thermal, thermal fusion, and ink jet have different advantages and limitations. Knowing how those affect your particular needs will help you find the smallest travel printer suitable.

Computer Backpack Guide

October 8, 2009 Comp & Tech Comments Off

If you are trying to find cool computer backpacks that suit your needs and your lifestyle, there are a few things that you should consider when you are shopping. There are computer backpacks available for sale at a variety of stores from department stores to specialty stores. There are also websites which sell a variety of different styles and sizes of computer backpacks.

Ideally, you should have your laptop with you when you are purchasing your computer backpack. This is because not all backpacks will fit all laptops. If you have a laptop with a very large screen such as a seventeen or eighteen inch screen, you may find that it will not fit in regular computer backpacks. If you don’t have your computer with you, consider measuring it beforehand so that you know what the minimum internal dimensions are.

GPS Running Watch Review: Garmin Forerunner 305

October 7, 2009 Comp & Tech Comments Off

According to the site GPS Running Watch Review, the Garmin Forerunner 305 is ranked number one in GPS running watches. While this watch is great for runners, it also caters to bikers, skiers, and other sports as well. This watch allows users to download their data on their computer for easy analysis. Unfortunately, this watch does not work well for Mac users in this area, but you will still have your data on the watch. This watch measures speed, distance, pace, and time very precisely. The display is easy to read, and the user can customize it. The GPS signal is excellent and very accurate. For those who have a PC, you can see your trail on a map. This watch is a great value for any user.

WoW Tailoring

September 30, 2009 Comp & Tech, Hobbies Comments Off

With WoW tailoring you will be able to make impressive clothing, daunting cloth armor, bags and shirts. The cloth armor is nearly essential for the every day clothie (priest, warlock and mage) which is why it is recommended for these classes to pick it up as there professions. All the cloth will fall from humanoid races (except for the felcloth which falls from demons). You can also make spellthread legging for people. These leggings give people give nice spellpower increases to people who need them. You can sell these for a pretty penny as well. You can also make cloaks for other characters or you can make yourself a flying mount. These mounts are called flying carpets. All in all this is an excellent profession to have if you are a cloth wearer.
