Cashmere Bed Socks Save Money

Cashmere bed socks can actually save you money.  That is what I heard the other day.  I couldn’t figure out how since they are really expensive.  One pair of these cashmere socks could run you up to $30.  If you buy a pair of pure cashmere socks, they could actually be more than $50.  This is really expensive to buy and instead, I’ve bought simple running socks for $3 since I didn’t want to spend so much money.

I finally asked someone what they meant by cashmere socks saving people money.  He broke it down and told me how.  First, cashmere bed socks allow you to turn the heat down in your home at least 5 degrees lower.  If you turn down your heat at night 5 degrees less for 8 hours a night, you will save more than $20 a week in your electricity bills. This means that after 1 and a half weeks, you will have enough money to buy the socks.  Then, after 2 weeks, you will start to save money.  Since winter can last for a few months, you will end up saving a lot more money just by keeping yourself warmer at night.  Thus, the cashmere socks don’t look that expensive after all.  Even the pure cashmere socks seem pretty cheap.  After doing all of those calculations and after counting the number of winter months that I experience here in Illinois, I realize that cashmere bed socks are a great investment.
